New BillsMafia Babble: Let your voices be heard!

It’s time for your voices to be heard. I’ve been thinking about ways we could use this blog to feature more commentary from our BillsMafia community. To that end, I’d like to try a pilot project during the offseason.

When I accepted the role as Editor-in-Chief I stated it was my intention to direct the focus of this blog more as a vehicle for commentary and discussion. It’s tough committing to writing an article once a week, especially when the Bills are cratering, as they’ve done so many times over the last 17 years.

During the 2016 season, we had several contributing authors I would like to thank for their terrific contributions to our blog:

Anthony Bialy @AnthonyBialy

Cierra Livecchi @seeairuhyo

Rick Bates @MyHammock

Mike Cavaretti @Cavarooter61

Paul Lane @InForAPennyJDRF

We also had a lot of great commentary from Bills fans throughout the season. However, I’d like to continue to grow the blog in a more interactive way.

To that end, I’d like to begin blogging commentary from all of you and I’ve given some thought as to how best to incorporate commentary from anyone who wants to either write an article or just state an opinion about any issue relating to the Buffalo Bills.

I set up an email address where you can write directly to me with anything you’d like to say about the Bills. I would like to collect these comments and publish them on our blog periodically if they are suitable.

What do I mean by ‘suitable’?

Suitable comments mean commentary that is accurate, respectful, and includes reasons that back up whatever it is you’re trying to assert. Basically, no trolling. Our mission is to provide a place for civil discourse about the Buffalo Bills.

As editor, I will choose what comments will feature on our blog.

I’m also going to use my Twitter feed to post tweets that I find particularly interesting throughout the week, along with some of my other not-so-scintillating commentary from time to time.

I follow anyone who follows me on Twitter, so if you want to get on my feed, but you’re not following me on Twitter, add me so I can see your comments.

So let’s get started. I’m going to post this on Twitter so please retweet it so we can get the word out to as many people as possible.

Let’s get this thing rolling during the off season so we have our ‘BillsMafia Babble’ in full tilt mode by training camp.
