BillsWire’s Winners & Losers from Saturday’s NFL Combine

On Saturday, the NFL Combine focused on quarterbacks, wide-receivers and tight-ends and was quite revealing. I haven’t watched tight-ends at the Combine for a long time and it was an eye-opener. University of Washington’s wide-receiver John Ross broke Chris Johnson’s NFL Combine record with a blazing 4.22 40-yard dash.

However, he wasn’t the only tight-end to impress. All together, this draft class of tight-ends is considered one the best ever.

From my amateur eyes, the guy who impressed me the most on Saturday was Penn State wide-receiver Chris Godwin who looked like a machine going through his workout. Just picturing him playing opposite Sammy Watkins is an image that will get me through the lag time before the draft.
